A 22-month-old boy died Saturday in Reno County after being run over by a tractor.

The accident happened on 82nd Road in western Reno County, when the tractor “doing farming operations” ran over the toddler, the Reno County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.

The boy was dead when deputies arrived, the news release said. The time of the call was not included in the release, which was issued

“The name of the deceased will not be released at this time, and there are no other details to release,” the Sheriff’s Office said in the news release. “Reno County EMS assisted with the call.”
