Parade accident injures 4 year old

ENMARK, Wis. (WBAY) - Brown County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a parade accident involving a semi tractor and a four year old boy in the Village of Denmark.

The boy, along with other children, were retrieving candy from the annual Lion’s Parade on County Highway KB. The boy had his leg partially run over by the semi with a full size milk tanker trailer that was representing a company in the parade.

The boy got too close to the rear dual tires of the trailer while getting candy and his leg was caught and pinned briefly under the tire. The boy suffered a significant leg injury, but nothing life threatening. The boy was transported to a local hospital by County Rescue who was also in the parade. No alcohol or drugs are suspected and the accident remains under investigation.
